The relationship of communication and trust is key in this representation of a man and a woman who find themselves in their agreements and conflicts. This intense and poetic performance allows the performers to transcend their own boundaries.

Born in Tyrol, Julia Rigger discovered her love of circus at the Wirbelwind children’s and youth circus. After graduating from high school, she spent a formative year there before beginning her training at the CircArtive School. Her path took her to California to the San Diego Circus Center, where she specialized in aerial circ us and honed her skills in acrobatics, dance, equilibristics and clowning.

Angie Kurz is a circus artist from Austria who specializes in the spectacular discipline of hairhanging. With training in aerobic gymnastics and dance, she has further developed her skills and immersed herself in contemporary dance as well as circus and theater arts in Spain.
In hairhanging, Angie takes to the air using a special technique in which her hair serves as the only connection to the ground, mesmerizing the audience with her impressive body control and the interplay between pain and beauty.
With her breathtaking performances, Angie Kurz is a true master of her craft and enriches the circus world with a unique blend of acrobatics and art.

KRAPOLDI Old Town Variety

A unique circus ring is brought to life in front of the Golden Roof. Mme Du Point skilfully guides the audience through the performances and ensures that they remain involved at all times. The music group ‘Fanfarroni’ from Sicily becomes a circus combo and accompanies the aerial artists.
The historic ambience of the Golden Roof is perfectly complemented by the poetic dance acrobatics of the Masawa company and the profound pole dance performance by Oleksii Kolbei, who moves the audience with their impressive performances. Julia Rigger, with her aerial hoop expertise, and Angie Kurz with her spectacular hairhanging act soar high into the air and crown the spectacle. Instead of a construction crane, the city tower in conjunction with the roof of Café Katzung serves as an anchor for the aerial acts.

This extraordinary circus spectacle combines the historical beauty of the city of Innsbruck with modern circus art, creating an unforgettable experience for the audience.
