Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver
When a mysterious parcel arrives on the island of Lummerland one day, all four inhabitants get very excited: Little Jim Knopf has been accidentally stranded on the island and is growing up there. When Jim turns 16, King Alfonso begins to worry because he believes that Lummerland is overpopulated. He even considers decommissioning Emma, Lukas’ locomotive. But neither Luke nor Jim Knopf agree. Jim also doesn’t want to part with Lukas. So Jim and Lukas set off on an adventurous journey with Emma. On the way, they meet Mrs. Mahlzahn, the illusory giant Tur Tur and the little dragon Nepomuk.
