Funfair, circus & vibrant street art
In Maria-Theresien-Straße, the heart of Innsbruck is transformed into a lively stage full of fantasy, movement and surprises. Between the funfair and circus cabinet, the KRAPOLDI ball circus and the information tent, a colorful experience space is created in which street art and circus magic flow seamlessly into one another. Extraordinary artists come together here, alternately causing amazement, laughter and goosebumps:
Clown Candy – rolling, charming, unmissable
With her roller skates, clown Candy whirls through Maria-Theresien-Straße, connects the venues and leads through the program with wit, spontaneity and a warm presence. Always on the move, always in contact, always good for an extra smile.
Jordi Beltramo – Jordi in Slalom | 15:30 + 17:45
Between slalom poles, spontaneous ideas and charming chaos, Jordi unfolds his very own world. With wit, precision and a good dose of self-irony, he captivates the audience. Every movement is spot on, every moment is surprising, and yet everything seems so easy, as if the street itself were playing along.
Zinzi & Evertjan – The Show Must Go On | 16:45 + 18:45
A piece full of genuine enthusiasm, partner acrobatics, humor and live music. With every attempt, every failure and every almost successful moment, the two give their all. They fight their way through a tangle of arms and legs, knotted music cables, wild acrobatics and distorted guitar riffs. No matter what happens – this show goes on. And the audience experiences first-hand how failure, improvisation and triumph merge into pure entertainment.
As part of the KRAPOLDI street art festival – on 21. + August 22 – we will transform the market square, the old town, Maria-Theresien-Straße and NEW Bozner Platz into lively stages for two days. Street theater, circus arts and clowning will take place there, sometimes in parallel or at different times, and form the prelude to the KRAPOLDI Festival, which will continue in Rapoldi Park from August 25 to 30.
